Eight years ago I worked in marketing for an NFP that Netier supported, and Gordon offered me a role at Netier. I was the eighth employee at Netier and have seen the company expand not only in size but into different locations as well. My role has continued to develop and grow with the business and it has been an exciting and enjoyable experience since day one.

What drew me to Netier?
What drew me to Netier was the passion and drive of the people, the belief in the brand and the want to create a workplace that people loved to be. Community engagement also has a very special place in my heart that I am forever grateful to get to work in.
How do your personal passions align with your work at Netier?
I have always had a love for helping people, and my role encompasses that every day in HR, but even more so in the community engagement I get to create, drive and build here. Being able to help organisations that support young children like Supertee and fostering education in females in male-dominated industries through Girls On Track have been some of the greatest highlights of my career.
What has been your most fulfilling experience at Netier?

When we were able to bring Girls on Track to Canberra, it was in every state of Australia except Canberra and Netier made that happen. It took three years from inception to completion, and it was well worth all the hard work. Another highlight would have to be bringing the Supertee to Canberra Hospital after they hadn’t received any in over a year post-COVID. We created some exciting initiatives to raise money for Supertee and we managed to provide 200 medical garments to sick children across Canberra. In every way possible. I am so grateful for the last 8 years of Netier as they have been the best years of my career. I have been able to work on things I never imagined possible.
What makes the culture at Netier unique?
It’s the dedication and passion of everyone in the company. Everyone is so committed to delivering exceptional outcomes but enjoying themselves while they do it. Another amazing thing is people are so welcoming and supportive here, I truly love coming to work each day.
Why should a community organisation reach out to Netier?

Because we go above and beyond the requirements of a sponsorship agreement. We think about unique ways to help those that need it the most and we truly care about giving back to the community that supports us. We don’t just sign an agreement and do the bare minimum we constantly think about how the partnership can evolve and grow stronger. We also have people who love working with the community.
