WaterWombats

WaterWombats is an adapted swimming program for children with neurodiversity. They draw on a number of Allied Health disciplines and aqua therapy styles to ensure safety and comfort for the children in these swimming lessons.

We began sponsoring WaterWombats in 2023 after being connected to the registered charity through the ACT Government initiative Gamechangers. Gamechangers helps connect businesses with local sporting clubs to promote and support health and fitness to our younger generation. We are so grateful for this wonderful partnership and the connection that the ACT Government initiated.

In 2023 we will be supporting a young family to have swimming lessons alongside assisting Waterwombats with various community initiatives throughout the year.

Supertee

Netier came across Supertee’s founder Jason in August 2022 when our HR team attended the Australian Human Resources Institute Conference. They came back with the story of how Supertee was founded, and it impacted us immensely, so we knew we had to find a way to support them.

Around 500,000 children a year are needing the services of Australia’s hospitals. A significant number of these kids are diagnosed with a critical illness that requires long-term care. Super Tee’s mission is to help alleviate the discomfort and distress experienced by Australia’s sickest children while they’re in the hospital. The Supertee is a medical garment that inspires imagination. It is an updated version of the traditional hospital gown, only this time it’s been designed especially for children.

When we found out that no Supertee’s had been delivered to Canberra hospitals in over a year we wanted to change that. In 2022 we launched two initiatives.

With both of these initiatives, we were able to provide Canberra Hospital with over 200 Supertees raising over $5,000.

The Netier Pink Cap

The Netier Pink cap was a limited-edition version of our beloved Netier caps which we sold and gave all proceeds to Supertee.
