Netier is proud to announce they will be the naming sponsor of The Netier National Capital Rally for the next two years. The agreement will see Netier continue its support of the event after being involved for the last two years and a successful year of being the naming sponsor in 2018.

Gordon Hayes, The Managing Director of Netier explains, “We are proud to have extended our support of the Netier National Capital Rally through to 2020, this is a fantastic event for Canberra and we hope that with our ongoing support it will continue to grow in popularity. Our support of the event came about after taking a minor sponsorship role in 2017, the energy and commitment of the volunteers who ran the event made the decision to become the primary sponsor very easy. Being the naming sponsor in 2018 has proved both inspiring and rewarding to the team here at netier and we look forward to continuing our support. We have had some fantastic local businesses join us in supporting the event this year, something we hope to continue in future years.”

Netier actively encourages their team to get involved in the community that supports us and since 2015 have proudly sponsored Harry Bates, local Canberra Rally Driver who became the youngest winning driver in Australian Rally Championship history by taking out the Victoria Eureka Rally and The National Capital Rally in 2017. In 2018 Netier organised a Women in Technology and Rally event at Radford College which focused on inspiring and empowering youth in Canberra about careers in IT and Sports. Speakers Molly Taylor, Sarah Polhill and Jade Meara focused on their aspiring careers and the hard work and dedication that went into getting where they are today. Netier’s Marketing Manager, Jess Baker exclaimed, “It was refreshing to see our future generation being inspired by professionals in IT and sports careers and having strong female leaders to look up to.”

Netier are looking forward to the next two years ahead and working with fantastic local Canberra businesses, the Brindabella Motor Sport Club and all the volunteers who make this event happen again.
