At Netier, we’re more than just a Managed IT Services provider in Australia; we’re passionate about nurturing the next generation of tech talent. The Netier Fellowship Program, our latest mentoring initiative, gave bright young minds the platform to showcase their skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. The winner of this program had the incredible opportunity to learn from experienced Netier IT mentors, who guided them in shaping their professional future with insights, support, and industry-leading expertise. The Netier Fellowship ran for approximately three months and was open to all ACT residents (including surrounding regional NSW – Murrumbateman, Sutton, Bungendore, Queanbeyan) who are aged 7 – 22 years old.
The Purpose Behind the Fellowship
Our goal with the Netier Fellowship was to inspire and encourage young people to deep dive into the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion, and this program was designed to open doors for underrepresented groups, providing them with opportunities to succeed in the tech industry.

In the spirit of fun and creativity, we designed a fan-favourite kids’ t-shirt in-house that quickly became a hit. The funky, colourful design resonated with our community, and the shirts were proudly worn by the children featured in our promotional video for the competition.
