At Netier, we believe that our role as a company extends beyond offering Managed IT Support Services. We’re committed to giving back to the community and are fortunate to partner with organisations that share our values. One partnership that truly embodies our commitment to making a difference is with Supertee, a charitable organisation that supports Australia’s sickest children. This collaboration is a part of our broader initiative under Netier’s Community Pillar – “Supporting Who Needs It Most”.

Meeting Supertee: A Humble Beginning

In August 2022, at the AHRI Conference in Sydney, we had the chance to meet Jason Sotiris, the founder of Supertee. Their mission, to bring comfort to children during their hospital stays with specially designed medical garments, resonated deeply with us. When we learned that no Supertees had been delivered to Canberra Hospital for over a year, we knew we had to act.

Our team, driven by the same passion we bring to our IT services, wanted to contribute in a meaningful way. We brainstormed and decided on a fun and engaging way to raise funds for this cause.

The Netier Pink Cap: A Symbol of Support

To support Supertee, we introduced a limited edition Netier pink cap, with all proceeds from the sales going directly to Supertee.

We priced each cap at $20 and made sure delivery was available across Australia. The response from our team, clients, and the broader community was overwhelmingly positive.

Our promotional efforts were all organic, simple yet effective. We focused on:

  • Social Media Engagement: We shared posts across our social media platforms, reaching a wide audience and raising awareness about both the caps and Supertee’s mission.
  • Email Signatures: Our team integrated the promotion into their email signatures, ensuring that every communication had the potential to generate interest.
  • Staff Participation: Our Netier team proudly wore the caps offsite, showcasing their support and sparking conversations.
  • Ambassador Involvement: Our ambassadors joined in by wearing the caps and sharing their photos on social media, further amplifying the campaign’s reach.

  • Travelling Cap Initiative: We encouraged everyone to take photos of their pink caps in various locations—whether at the gym, a café, or even with their pets—adding a personal and creative touch to the campaign.

A Successful Community Campaign with Lasting Impact

Netier SuperTee Packing Event Canberra

The success of our pink cap campaign truly demonstrated the power of community and collaboration. By November, we were excited to come together as a team for our first-ever Supertee Packing Event. With the funds raised, we were able to provide these beautiful “battle armours” to young warriors at Canberra Hospital. 200 Supertees were successfully packed and delivered to Canberra Hospital by our team.

This initiative was not just about raising funds; it was about embodying the values that drive us at Netier. Just as we strive to deliver  Managed IT Services and Cyber Security to our clients nationwide, we are equally committed to supporting causes that make a real difference in people’s lives.
